No. All games use tournament points or charity chips with zero cash value, which keeps every event legal under NSW gaming rules. Prizes are trophies, experiences and donated goods.
Smart casual works for public nights. Gala charters usually run cocktail or black tie, and the sky deck gets breezy after dark, so a jacket is always a good call. Stiletto-unfriendly surfaces are noted in your boarding email.
Harbour circuits stay inside the Heads where swell rarely exceeds half a metre, and the vessels carry stabilisers. Sensitive guests should take their usual remedy an hour before boarding; the crew keeps ginger tablets and acupressure bands at the hospitality desk.
Absolutely. A fifteen-minute learn-to-play session runs at boarding on every format, dealers coach through the early levels, and the masterclass format exists specifically for groups new to the game.
Private events start at ten players on the salon table and scale to 480 on a full flagship charter. Public nights welcome solo players and small groups without any minimum.
Charters are priced per event, not per guest. Starting figures are on the pricing page, and every enquiry receives a written itemised quote within one business day.
Outside florists, celebrants and cake suppliers are welcome with advance notice. Catering, gaming equipment and security must come through our licensed chain for insurance reasons.
The casino deck is fully enclosed, so play continues regardless. Outdoor elements move to covered deck zones, and only genuine safety concerns trigger the weather protocol in our refund policy.
Yes on designated family formats. The kids' quarter runs supervised activities two decks from the gaming floor, and minors never enter the casino zones under liquor licensing.
Circular Quay station is a four-minute walk to the Overseas Passenger Terminal, ferries arrive at the adjacent wharves, and coach set-down is at the terminal forecourt. Parking is limited, so we recommend transport apps or the train.
Coastal-class and flagship vessels run itineraries to Newcastle, Brisbane, the Whitsundays, Cairns and seasonally Hobart. Routes beyond Australian waters are not offered. See route options.
Peak season Saturdays book out ten to twelve weeks ahead. Midweek and winter dates move faster, occasionally inside a fortnight. Multi-day series need a full season of notice.

On the Day

Terminal doors open sixty minutes before departure and boarding closes fifteen minutes out. Latecomers miss the ship; the harbour keeps a schedule.
A designated open-deck area on the port side carries ashtrays. All indoor spaces and the casino floor are strictly non-smoking under NSW law.
Once the gangway lifts, nobody leaves until docking. For multi-port itineraries, re-boarding windows are printed in the guest app.
Terminal and main event decks are step-free with lift access between decks. Tell us at booking so the crew can flag the smoothest route and reserve rail-adjacent table positions.

Money & Paperwork

Thirty percent confirms the date and locks the crew roster. The balance falls due fourteen days before sailing, after your menu and run-sheet sign-off.
One free date transfer is included per booking. Cancellation refunds follow the sliding scale in the refund policy, which your producer walks through before deposit.
Yes. ABN-registered organisations can settle on fourteen-day invoice terms with a purchase order. Private bookings pay by card or transfer.
Every charter carries A$20 million marine public liability, detailed in the terms of service. Certificates are supplied to your venue-compliance or procurement team on request.
