Poker Masterclass at Sea

Ninety minutes with a touring professional, then a graded tournament where your guests immediately apply what they learned. The format for groups who want to leave better at the game than they arrived.

The Format

Instruction That Actually Transfers

Most poker lessons die on the whiteboard. Ours work because the tournament starts ninety minutes after the teaching ends, while the concepts are still warm. Guests play the same spots they just studied, with the coach walking the floor.

The teaching roster rotates through touring professionals and our own senior dealers, matched to the room's level. Beginner groups get fundamentals and confidence; experienced fields get range work, ICM spots and the questions that only come up at a real table.

  • Training materials and laminated concept cards at each seat

On the Night

The Teaching Arc

The Classroom Hour

Core concepts on screen with live hand demonstrations. Position, aggression, and the three mistakes everyone makes.

Guided Play

The tournament begins and coaches circulate. Fold equity explained at the exact moment it matters, not abstractly.

The Review

After the trophy, the coach breaks down three real hands from the night. Guests learn more from their own mistakes than any lecture.

How Your Evening Comes Together

Level Assessment

A short survey gauges the group's experience so the coach pitches the session correctly.

Coach Matching

We pair the roster to your field: fundamentals for beginners, advanced theory for regulars.

Curriculum Sign-Off

The session outline, terminology level and hand examples are confirmed a fortnight out.

Teach & Play

Ninety minutes of instruction, three hours of coached play, thirty minutes of review.

Questions

Before You Book

Our roster includes touring professionals with major live results and senior dealers with teaching credentials. The booking brief names your specific coach, not a category.
Yes, roughly a third of masterclass bookings are all-beginner groups. The curriculum has a fundamentals track that assumes zero experience and still finishes the night with everyone playing real poker.
It can, as a pure workshop for conferences or training days. Most groups keep the tournament because applying the lesson immediately is where the learning sticks.
The concept cards and hand charts are theirs to keep. Regulars collect them across formats, which is exactly the point.
